Sketching & Drawing

We went to the observation shelter and after learning how to sketch using binoculars, tried it for ourselves. We saw cormorants on the stony islands, a diving grebe and lots of reeds! The idea was to practise being an Artist working in the field, looking into the distance and bringing it close enough to sketch, using the binoculars.

Using a small plastic pot with a magnifying lens as a lid, we discovered something very small to put in the pot, then see it under the lens and draw it VERY big. See if you can identify what we found!
